The Social Tree Foundation is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their first RDI Conference in Montreal this April 24th & 25th 2018. It has acquired an endorsement from RDI Connect in Houston Texas to openly discuss the RDI strategies and principles of the intervention.
The conference will focus on discussing the value of RDI therapy as a way of improving family and individual quality of life amongst children, adolescents and adults with autism and related disorders. This intervention was originally developed by Dr. Steven E. Gutstein and Dr. Rachelle Sheely in Houston Texas to address the common core deficits in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through a parent-based clinical treatment.
The two keynote speakers for this event are the following:

Francesca Dansereau M.Ed, PhD (candidate) and Certified RDI Consultant along with Mrs. Lisa Palasti Director in Professional Training in Canada and Certified RDI consultant will be leading the RDI component of the conference. Together, they plan to disseminate information and provide qualitative data on the RDI approach as a method of supporting parents and their children with autism.

We will be privileged to hear a parent panel of individuals who have gone through the RDI program or who are actively undergoing the program will explain their process to you and provide you with a question-answer period.
This conference provides parents and professionals with the opportunity to see how RDI fosters relationships, communication abilities, joint-attention skills, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities through the process of Dynamic Thinking in such to promote independence and autonomy in adulthood.
